As the year is coming to an end, we look forward to another 365 brand new days before us. Hold on to what is good, while let go of what is bad.

Before we enter 2019, here are our highlights of 2018, in no particular order.

It was a great opportunity for us to share our knowledge with the students from Kobe. Kudos to Justin and Lai for organizing the workshops in Singapore and Kobe. And thank you Goldwell Singapore for supporting us as always. Hope to see you again soon!

To share with our dearest customers the dynamic hair care and styling experience that Dyson Supersonic hair dryers brings, we have replaced all our hair dryers with its Professional edition. At the same time, we launched a special Dyson Supersonic Smooth hair treatment at our flagship salon, Ngee Ann City, in collaboration with Shiseido Professional.

This year, we have also launched 2 new color services: Tsuyagami treatment, a special hair coloring and glossing treatment that makes your hair shine, and Kinugami color, a treatment color service built from skincare technology that replenishes the color and restore the moisture to your hair for a smoother and softer finish.

And of course, how can we forget about our latest collaboration with drHair that brings you all the best solutions to your scalp issues?

It has been an honor and pleasure working with famous photographer, Leslie Kee, renowned fashion designers such as Stephane Koerwyn, Amos Ananda and Thomas Wee, fashion labels such as Warehouse and BCBGMAXAZRIA, and events such as Runway Asia and NAFA fashion show to promote emerging designers. Thank you for the opportunity.

In 2018, we were awarded Women's Weekly Hair Award for Best Perm, and received acknowledgements from Daily Vanity for naming us as one of Singapore's best salons giving the best in-salon treatment and vibrant colored hair service. Thank you for the motivation and encouragement. We will strive to work harder to exceed your expectations.

Congratulations to our creative stylists Sean, Comb and Yuki for getting their amazing works nominated for various glamorous hair awards in Singapore. Sean won the Goldwell Color Zoom Creative Colorist Semi-Finalist Award. Yuki got into the Top 5 of Shiseido Professional Beauty Innovator Award 2018 - Salon Creation category. And 3 of Comb's works got into Top 5 of Shiseido Professional Beauty Innovator Award 2018 -  Total Creation category. Keep up the good work!

It was fun working with the crew of Encore Film's second local production, Fat Hope, starring Taiwanese actors Alien Huang and Lu Yu Pin, and homegrown actors, Liu Ling Ling, Hong Hui Fang, Henry Thia, Jeffrey Xu, Abigail Chay and Priscilla Lim. Thank you director, Joyce Lee, for the invitation. Can't wait to see the movie.

We will like to thank all the staff who volunteered to help out for charity events done with Hair for Hope, Lion's Befrienders, Down Syndrome Association and National Cancer Centre.  Beauty is a light in the heart.

It was our founder's, Mr Shunji Matsuo, wish to continue Makeover Magic, to bring light and hope to people. In 2018, we were delighted to be able to continue his initiatives to help the eldery and cancer survivors with the help of the many who lent their hands to make Makeover Magic a success.

We are 20! Just like any 20-year-old, we continue to evolve. What's next? You can expect to see more exciting new services and promotions all for you in 2019.
